Craigmore Cottage is a modern property on the B8035 Salen to Gruline road. This central position, with easy access to all main routes, makes it an ideal location for exploring the whole island.
The cottage enjoys views to the hills of Aros to the front, with a woodland aspect to the rear. The cottage’s rural location means that guests can indulge in wildlife and birdwatching from their own front door – deer frequently being seen on the hills opposite, as well as eagles, hen harriers and buzzards occasionally flying overhead.
Salen, just over a mile away, is a charming island village with amenities including a Spar shop, post office with cash machine, launderette, petrol station, restaurant and hotel with public bar.
Craigmore Cottage is a no-smoking property and guests are not allowed to bring pets. Having just the one double bedroom, it is an ideal holiday base for a couple. Guests will find the bed made up for arrival and towels, tea towels and many other extras are provided to make their stay as comfortable as possible.
The property is looked after by our local, friendly caretakers, Dave and Jane Underwood, who live in Tobermory, and they will ensure that the cottage is clean and welcoming on arrival.
We realise the importance that good quality, comfortable accommodation plays in contributing to a great holiday and we hope our guests will enjoy their stay in our cottage. The Isle of Mull has much to offer visitors and there is a saying on the island “If you come to Mull the once, you’ll return again for sure”. We do hope that you will visit Mull and enjoy your stay, and perhaps, like many others, you too will return – both to the island and to Craigmore Cottage.
